... to a credit card that you link to the pass. I stashed my things in a locker (there are lockers located in the Four Mountain Sports as well as the main ticket building). I skied down and started to ski off the Elk Camp Gondola and Elk Camp Lift. There are lots of blue trails in that area that are not that steep, so it seemed like a good place to warm up. I spent the morning in this area and then stopped for lunch at Elk Camp, where I ...

There is a great bar out the front of our hotel that looks out to the slopes called Vega Vega and we indulged in a cocktail or two for happy our after our days skiing.

All in all our ski experience was amazing and totally worth going five star all the way.

Certainly not fashion for the everyday person. It was still fun to watch though. Finished off the evening with another champagne from the Korbel Ice Bar - totally carved out of ice it certainly kept the champagne chilled just the way we like it. Enjoying this lifestyle!

... of Independence Pass. Note the top is above the tree line which is about 11,000 feet and is considered tundra. The views from there are amazing, but we are not on the highest peak in the area. There are some around us that reach 14,000 feet. We went back down the way we came, because we had been on the other side of Independence Pass about 2 weeks ago. No pics on the way back since I was on the inside all the ...
