... Grotta. Immediately upon our arrival we were greeted by Nicoletta, who is a member of the family owned hotel and she made us feel welcome and comfortable. We greatly appreciated the touring tips and goodies that she provided when we first arrived. Our cozy room was located in a corner, that faced the port of Naxos and the temple of Apollo with a large deck that is sheltered from the wind. It is just a short walk from the hotel ...

This was not the best decision because we were driving a small fiat that was good on gas and after we circumnavigated the island (about 35km) only a quarter tank was used. During the day it is dead in there and absolutely goes off at night. After lunch we had a couple of hours to relax before getting ready for our night out. We went to an amazing restaurant for dinner which was down by the beach and had such ...

... stalking me! It was good as we could actually have a proper chat and catch up on each others lives. After Fun Pub, we went to a pub called Slammers. It's called Slammers for a really good/stupid reason. When you buy a shot, they also make you wear a helmet. They slam the shot down in front of you, which is in a tall glass, and it fizzes up. You skull the shot, and once you're finished, they SLAM you in the head with either a baseball bat, a crate, a sledgehammer, a ...
