I caught up on my blog which for some reason has been made more difficult as I haven't been able to open the app for the last three days and so I had to do it through their web site. A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Jul 31, 2014

The ferry crossing was only an hour but we were down there so early that it felt like we were travelling for ages. Once we got to Ios we checked into out hostel which was much nicer than the last couple. The bathroom was still **** and ...

... everyday tourist. I believe people who holiday there have money and found the shopkeepers only to be interested in those who buy. 125eros for a bikini from Brazil! The backstreets of the old town are lovely to walk through, beautiful flowers and pele obviously take care and pride in painting their buildings, however there is a snobbery about the place where dining is also expensive. Many French, German and Spanish tourists here. Lots of seafood. Kolymbtheres beach is ...
