    Beach Paradise

A travel blog entry by anlnewby on Jun 11, 2015

Today started like the last few. An early wake up for me and a nice gentle sleep in for Lisa. Today Lisa was happy to make breakfast and did a wonderful job. The day started cloudy and we weren't sure whether it would be a good day to camp out at the beach for the whole day. We decided to go anyway and the cloud cover soon moved to a beautiful sunny day. The water was amazing and fresh like ice to our warm ...

... out, being right beside it. After seeing the other huts we could have stayed in, I was very happy with our shack! We knew that our next hotels we stay in are a little bit sketch. We both had nice long hot showers in our clean bathroom before heading to ...

We set sail (figuratively) the next morning and found a completely private cove on a tiny island called Koufonisos, just south of Naxos. It was so isolated that we didn't see another human being or even hear another boat all day long. This was an ideal location to go snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming. The water was blue and turquoise, and was among the clearest I have even seen. The visibility was at least ...

... Called for the bill at 4pm as tonight we were meeting everyone at Little Venice for dinner and watch the sunset at 7.30pm. Stuart and I went in a bit early to look at the shops before dinner. We kept bumping into the others from our group doing the same as us. New purchases in hand off to Little Venice for dinner. Magnificent ...
