Day 36 - Shopping and an 80s night
... at the hotel and left our cameras there. We all piled into some tuk tuks and headed to 'Sperm Bar'. I had a few cocktails and Ryan ended up buying a $10 bottle of whiskey as it was cheaper to buy than the single drinks. ... get change and she gave me a wai and left. I assumed she was coming back but then I looked over and she was just sitting there waiting for her next table.
"Oh ****!" I thought, "She thought that was a tip! That is why she gave me such a deep wai!"
Turns out that the server gives the money to a bus boy that goes to the manager for change then returns it to the server who gave it back to me with a thank you. Odd but understandable. I left ...
BACK to the Beach!

Potata, Pattaya!
... trekking. We plan on heading back to Bangkok on Friday to go to Khao San Road and get ready for the tour. We may also see the Golden and Black Buddha if time.
The mossies have finally got us too! Which really spoils going out in the evening, but we are armed with a ton of bug spray and hydrocortizone so will soldier on!

New discoveries
... using outreaches in the slums, kids club, song, games, activites, bible teaching, cooking...and many more I'm not yet aware of. They bring a sense of hope for these people, offering prayer and encouragement, care and compassion. Angela, Pin and Jip are three admirable women for the work they do in Thailand. I am blessed to see with my own eyes how God can transform people, situations, and lives through people willing to be used by Him.
