... so I said ni hau back - you should have seen his face!!!! I always tell them I can't speak Chinese, and he couldn't get over the fact that I had said it quite naturally to him! He told all the others as they came in - teacher can speak Chinese! All said in Chinese, and I know enough to understand that!

Anyway, once the class had arrived, I sat up straight in my chair, and the 2 new teachers started. They did a perfect imitation of me! Who wants to try? ...

... on December 8th. Now perhaps that's an isolated case--but it's not. I sent a package to Malaysia in the beginning of March. When did it arrive? It hasn't yet, actually. ... poverty. There will be many tear and broken hearts. I might not be used to this kind of life at first. It may bring discomfort. However, this trip allows me to go through a different life that I have never had, but many children in my country are going through.
