Hard to believe, but Tim and arrived in China 5 months ago today – another 5 months and we'll be finished teaching for the year! There were a few changes to start the new year. ... Visa-Free zone for 48 hours. We went to Guangzhou Sunday and are quite comfortable now with its subway system and getting around near the train station. Had a fantastic day with Anne visiting the Dafen Oil Painting Village. It's a neighborhood entirely populated with painters, painting shops, the occasional framing shop, and an art museum.
