We didn't get very far today due to torrential rains along the gulf coast. We could not see anything in front of us so we thought pulling in and staying over night somewhere was the best idea.

We came to Camping World to get a repair done on our generator. Usually they are booked up for an eternity, but we camped overnight (free, I might add) at their facility and were second in line in the morning when they opened. Of course, they didn't find anything wrong and it ran for a couple of hours. They did change the oil and filter, which was something that needed to be done anyway. ...

After we did the zoo we headed to an ice cream parlor Matt's Ice Cream Parlor? (it was free with zoo admission). A nice atmosphere and I grabbed a root beer while my friends decided on their ice cream flavors.
