... Guy Fawkes is basically a celebration of the foiled attempt to blow up the houses of Parliament many many years ago. So we spent the night setting off fire works, eating burgers and hotdog, drinking some beer and wine! It wasn't without incident with the he fire works though! I managed to stand in the way of a rocket, but luckily no damage was done!<br><br>That's basically all that happened and what we did before we jumped on the train to London and the start of the trip around Europe!

... long stretches of connecting buildings, perfectly symmetrical with impressive flat stone facades. The backs of the buildings are very ugly and random as there was no standard style or building code for anything but the facade. All of the buildings in Bath were - and still must be - by ordnance constructed of Bath stone. The city is unique because everything is matching, but it could get boring after a while.
