... used to stay from time to time. Walked the streets and to the Staffelsee and back to Hotel, it is well under 10 degrees during the day now. Went to dinner which was fabulous and an older gentleman spoke to us, he saw I was wearing a traditional vest and assumed I was a local. Great chat, great food, great to be here. ... children want to have this connection with our family in Italy as hopefully that means they will always respect the bonds of family, no matter how near or far. The aunts and cousins were thrilled to see them and couldn't stop saying how beautiful Meg is and how Iain seems to be a sweet soul (apparently my cousin could tell this from Iain's eyes). We ate at La GIoiosa where we have been staying, under the stars and with the view of Cleto ...

... and dancing. Even my aunts got into the spirit and joined the conga line and were constantly being dragged in to dance. Truth be told, I think they loved it!! The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of. A young man I didn't even know dragged me into a conga line!! My cousin Antonio was in his glory. I don't know how many ...
