Took off from Illinois at about 9:00. We drove about 600 miles
and boondoggled (Sheila says boondocked, not sure which one is right) at a rest
area in Ashland, Kentucky. Tomorrow, we have about 400 miles to go to get to
Zack’s. With an early start, we should get there about 2:00pm.

... several different directions is so difficult! Helen Jo texted this morning and said that she decided to go over and have lunch with Mom and found her much better, blossoming when she sees her friends.

After packing up and breaking camp we left at 10:00. I had walked down to Sandy and Landy's to tell them we were leaving and they said they'd be about an hour behind us. I programmed the wonderful Rand McNally GPS ...
