... As Karjat station was arriving, we had a small difference of opinion within the group over which station to alight for nearest access to the fort. We settled the difference by deciding that we would get down at Lonavala instead of Karjat, assuming the former would be more fun.

... brinjal bhaji, pithale, varan all piping hot along with side dishes of papad, salad, thecha and buttermilk. This was really home made on earthen stove (chool) with peculiar village style and with aroma of smoke. After dinner, we enjoyed a camp fire lit for us. It was quite cold so this fire was required to warm us up. Then we went in the hut and played cards again before retiring to bed.
