I finally had a bed last night, that was my own, wasn't at a backpackers, was so very comfortable, and was well away from any dreaded church bells! This translated into an absolutely awesome sleep - finally - that just had to coincide with a morning where we had to be up at the crack of dawn, so despite all this it was still all too short! The reception and banquet halls are also paneled in carved oak and have stained glass windows. This was a very interesting tour.

For a town with so much history of violence, it is rather beautiful. ...

... Titanic, the birthplace of the mighty beast was our next stop. There is a giant museum next to the actual shipyard that the Titanic was built in. The museum is new and pretty impressive but we did not have time to go inside as it was due to close soon. We did walk around the area known as the Titanic Quarter though. We saw the SS Nomadic, the Titanic's little sister. It is the only ship from the White Star Line to make it to present day ...

... many churches to be found in the area as well. Just across the roundabout a few blocks away along Boucher road there are many fitness clubs and football fields. Right next to the fitness centre there is also another shopping Centre. We signed up for one of the fitness centres with Marit to get some exercise and improve our stamina. We already swam some lanes this week and will keep doing that the coming weeks.
