... It was a great way to grab a pint and pay tribute to my country whilst away! Then I got really lucky and two of the ships for the Tall Ships festival had come in early. Brazil's ship was amazingly beautiful and it was really cool to see. Then it was over to Titanic quarters. I saw the Nomadic, which took passengers to the Titanic before its fateful voyage. I also got to see the pokes in the ground which were used to lower the Titanic into the water the first time as well as ...

... for all intents and purposes it still seemed very much the Ireland we'd come to expect over the last few days, but all of a sudden distances were calculated in miles and not kilometres, and things were paid for in pounds and not euros. It all seemed a bit weird and pointlessly complicated really. It was even confusing to identify a country really. When we crossed the border, officially we were identified as being in the United Kingdom (my phone told me so), and I don't ...

... of the main highlights of the tour was the Giant's Causeway! The story behind these amazing stones is one Irish giant and one Scottish giant wanted to fight after throwing big stones and boulders (hence how the causeway came to exist). We had a blast climbing these hexagon shaped rocks and just enjoying the view. Then came the challenge... We had 30 minutes to catch the bus but we really wanted to climb the mountain. So, we basically ran up to the mountain! I have ...
