I finally had a bed last night, that was my own, wasn't at a backpackers, was so very comfortable, and was well away from any dreaded church bells! This translated into an absolutely awesome sleep - finally - that just had to coincide with a morning where we had to be up at the crack of dawn, so despite all this it was still all too short! But I wasn't really lacking any motivation because today we were off on another tour, this time north and into yet another ...
... the dome that rises 53 meters above is black and white and leads you to a center staircase that could rival a palaces. The entrance uses 4 different types of marble from Italy and Greece. The tour given is very informative and takes you through several meeting rooms and halls. The Council Chamber is richly designed with warm oak and rich reds. Right next to the fitness centre there is also another shopping Centre. We signed up for one of the fitness centres with Marit to get some exercise and improve our stamina. We already swam some lanes this week and will keep doing that the coming weeks.
