... on heading to Baku via the more Northerly looking of the two choices from Tbilisi. Both looked like motorways on the map and given I was covering nearly 600kms today, I thought it best to utlise the better & quicker roads. Well silly old me..... though the first 50km of roads in Azerbaijan were fast single lane roads, bordered by an avenue of cooling trees, this was only lulling me into a false sense of security.
