Off to Heathrow for a flight down south
12:15 finds me in the back of my favourite step daughters car en route for Heathrow, about now we should have been boarding the train but what with the weather and all that, trains seem even more unreliable than ever, so here we are. It comes to something when the biggest concern with a trip to Rwanda, is getting out of the West Country. Arrived at Heathrow in plenty of time even though we had to stop for fuel for the car, then fuel for the driver (Krispy Kreme donuts). ...
Back home again
... was quick, the luggage waiting for us (very impressive) and we just straight onto the Heathrow Express. This got us nicely into paddington to connect with the 1806 so we were back in Home by 2130 tired but glad we had made that train as the next we 2 hours later.
All in all a fantastic holiday which went like clockwork and we both enjoyed every second. Thanks for everyone who commented, we read them with great interest and the odd laff.
