On somewhat of a whim we have decided to venture into Milan for the day. None of us have ever been here before, so its a new experience for all.

The day started beautifully with a large number of people Para-sailing and sailing about on Lake Como this morning. Very nice thing to wake up to. After breakfast we left this lovely place and, with our GPS friend made our way into Milano.

We know that there is no parking in the city centre, we also know ...

Thanks ...

It soon became clear that the watching the finish wasn't a viable option, due to the limited visibility caused by other spectators and the 2m high fence that lined the course, so I went around the corner just after the 5km to go banner. And then the wait began... It turned out that I picked a good ...

We awoke early, had breakfast and lined up to buy tickets for the boat cruise to Bellagio. This trip would take 2 hours as it was stopping at many of the villages scattered around the lake. It was amazing just how many homes there were and they ranged from quaint cottages to large majestic villas with expansive gardens. We took many photos along the way as each village had its own individual style. Unfortunately there was no commentary with ...
