... tram --- yikes !! Judy speed reads in English - can she do it in French?
What a day! Between us we managed to find and read all the pertinent signs and directions, exchange some prepurchased train tickets in Paris, and scramble onto various modes of transport with mere minutes to spare. Arrived at our hotel feeling a little smug but knowing we were a couple of lucky travelers.

... order for chivalry created by Philip the Good to commemorate his marriage to Princess Isabella of Portugal in 1430. The order survives to this day in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, and Portugal


Found a soup kitchen, (one for paying customers), with soup being the main menu item. Just what we needed, as the day was definitely on the cool to chilly side, and evening fast approaching.

It had been a long flight however I had slept through the majority of the duration.
