Yay for dietary requirements! We've been fed terrible thick bum sandwiches so I switched to lactose free diet for the rest of the trip. There are two gluten free and two vegetarians on the trip and now I've joined their ranks. What this means is I get salads for lunch instead of horrible sandwiches. We have been fed so much bread on this trip that all of us are just sick of it. And so ...

... we swapped drivers and passengers. On the freeway Katrina and I jumped in the back and Alain and Andrew took over the driving and navigating.... Not that it was required....we crawled and stopped and crawled and stopped for one hour, forty minutes!!! This is ridiculous.....Angela Merkel will be hearing from me! Phew we've finally made it home and dinner was again at the hotels restaurant. No soufflé ...

... we just wandered through them and got a feel for the place. The views from up there were fantastic. The weather is still quite cloudy but good enough to get some idea of the surrounding mountains. We walked back along the Inn River which is a glacial blue but not so bright as the Lech River in Fussen. It's a wide river and looks to be running quite fast......and very chilly!! Our hotel Auracher Lochl gave us drink vouchers so ...

... legs and we gave him a nickname "drie" - that is 3 in German. We had a huge "prentzel" - you couldn't believe how huge it was.

Reese - We drove to Mayrhofen and we saw the cows that were coming down the mountain with the farmers. There were a few really young ones and they all had crosses and big head pieces on their heads, and huge bells on their necks. We had a drink and some special sausage, after that we went to take the gondola up the mountain. It was one big gondola. ...

Not very exciting for the non-golfers but today we went to the lovely nearby village of Goldegg to play golf. The weather was perfect and the course was just beautiful. If you're not a golfer just enjoy the pictures. It was also completely quiet, except for the sound of one cow bell in the next field.
