... so lovely and welcoming. It it was heartbreaking to visit the memorial site dedicated to the Australians and others who lost their lives in the Bali Bombings but I'm happy I got to share my respects. In hindsight, we wished we booked longer in Kuta and less time in Seminyak and Ubud. Overall, 16 days in Bali was a little too long. We could have visited more islands in Indonesia with our time but ...

Greenbowl - Didn't surf there but looked great from up top.
Airport left and airport right - The highlight surf of my trip. Airport right wasn't on whilst there but both times I went out Airport left was truly awesome. You have to hire a boat to take you out to the break which is 1-1.5klms offshore. You can pay the pay to drop you or to wait. ...

We watched the sunset together then the girls returned to Kuta. At our Hostel (M ...

Day 16: First day in Bali We were excited for our first day in Bali so we got up in time for breakfast before strolling towards the beach. The five minute walk took us about 2 hours because we stopped at every single shop along the way even though most things were exactly the same! After some tanning and watching the beach full of surfers we stayed to watch the sunset even though once again we annoyingly seemed to be the main attraction for photos. We found a good group of ...

... were even perched on tree branches to get a view of the stage. It was a fantastic performance consisting of 6 different acts. It wasn’t a single storyline but rather a series of short scenes. The coordinated eye, finger and feet movements of the dancers was incredible. Each movement made by the dancers is deliberate and conveys some emotion or action. Given the speed with which it is all executed, one can only imagine how ...
