Met up with Ivan, he is from Serbia and is travelling with another Serb guy, Zoran. Zoran is recently married to an Albanian girl, Juliana. She lives just outside Durres. We spent the day doing the touristy thing around Durres, the plan was to get some beach time in but the weather wasn't good.

We finally arrived in Berat around 5pm and walked to the backpackers. Luckily they had beds available so we dumped our ...

Berat: Only about 2 hours from Sarande. It is a UNESCO listed town - very nice old town situated inland between a valley. They have a thing called 'giro' at night. Basically at 7 pm all the locals walk down the main street. The girls do themselves up something crazy like they are out on the town wearing some pretty revealing clothes and the guys sit in coffee shops and watch as they parade up and down the street. Sounds creepy ...
