... a whole chicken (minus the breasts I think) and Logan had what looked like ribs, although he wasn't sure. I really don't like eating meat off bones so barely touched the chicken, which when the bill came we discovered cost 12 Euros!!! More than the whole of lunch!! I couldn't sleep for thinking about it!! Ripped off, they saw us coming. I suppose you have to take the good with the bad :) Off to Macedonia tomorrow

Mom and I walked further uphill, then popped into a travel agency to ask for directions. The young woman working there spoke English and informed us it’s about a 20-minute drive up to Kruja. Whoa, that far? She said there’s no need to take a taxi; there are local furgons that run uphill every so often, so just wait curbside and flag one down. ...

... went for a hard earned drink! Amazingly the trip down had only cost less than 20 euros for each couple so we decided to head to a flash restaurant for dinner. It was insanely cheap to eat here, we shared 2 starters between the four of us, each had a drink and a main, and shared desserts for a grand total of 6 each. We shared icecream for dessert and couldn't believe that the flavours were boysenberry and another one that tasted exactly like Hokey Pokey!

... pretty cool Roman ruins. Best thing we saw was 'the Blue Eye'. It’s a place where water pumps out of the ground at about 8 cubic meters per second. You can jump into the hole and the water is about 10 degrees so it’s an awesome shock when you hit the water, the water is sooo fresh- it’s coming directly from an aquifer underground.
