I really don't like eating meat off bones so barely touched the chicken, which when the bill came we discovered cost 12 Euros!!! More than the whole of lunch!! ... Albania in general is definitely the Asia of Europe, everything seems a little strange. Outside the cities it’s just farming and very basic at that. The country side is amazing though, very mountainous. First stop was Sarande; it’s really close to the Greek border, and only 7 km by water to Corfu.

Sarande: This is a coastal town which is popular with Albanians in the summer. We stayed there a couple of nights chilled at some beaches; ...

... flight or red eye to save money. Ha, this time, I talked my husband into going with business class seats as they weren’t that more expensive. Good thing I did.

We get through security quickly. I stop into the duty free shop to moisturize my face and hands with the most expensive product with samples. My SOP for travel. Then we go to the lounge. There are some breakfast foods. British Airways actually ...
