Well what a total dump! A day was too long here...we spent time playing pac man with the tramps mostly, changing direction only to find more in our path! After getting in to Florianopolis tbe night before at 11.30pm we had a half decent night's kip and went down to breakfast at our hotel (yes, hotel, treating ourselves here). At the next morning we saw a glimpse of blue in the sky exactly in our direction. So we left without breakfast to be ahead of the rain front. We were lucky: At the end of the day, after 600 km we reached Porto Alegre without putting the rain gear on.

I really like Argentina , very warm , open ,uncomplicated ,modern Society kind of mix between Italian Charm and a little bit British Snobismus, but OK.
Road Infrastructure is a lot be be desired and could use some mayor improvement.
General Aviation is Great , no Fees , quick ,easy and flexible , all you need is filing an Flt. Plan and fill out a Gen Declaration , ATC very efficient and Friendly ,Clearing in and out the Country with minimal fuss , in all Great Flying

... uma das minhas viagens do checklist das imperdíveis, sonho se tornando realidade.
Acho que agora, com Heidelberg,dá para deixar de lado, por um bom tempo, o sul da Alemanha.
Trocamos o hotel. Acabamos conseguindo pela Bancorbras o Hotel Montholon, na rua de mesmo nome. Pelo que vi no Google Maps, não é muito longe do Teatro de Ópera Palais Garnier.
Ainda estou pensando se compramos o Paris ...
