I continue down a peaceful country path up the valley, past lush grassy fields and little forest groves. One unique thing here are little wooden huts scattered throughout the fields. Not quite sure what they're for--my guess is they are for storing hay or something. Does give the fields a bit of character. Also along the way are little shrine-chapels with ...

Day 281 4 hrs, 10 kms Yesterday was both relaxing and inspiring. And today I wake up refreshed and ready to continue on with my adventure. But it won't be so easy. In Conclusion It's been a very fun two days in thi intriguing micro-country. Glad I was ...

Maybe I can be an all-weather camper after all. I continue on through the forest, where I come across a pleasant little surprise: a mini-castle hidden in the woods. Not all that beautiful, but mysterious and a cool discovery nonetheless--a good spot for my ...

... old daughter approach me. Then the woman says something to her daughter that I'll never forget. "Say hello to that man" What? Did I hear that right? A mother telling her daughter to say hello to a suspicious looking stranger walking down the street? Never, never would I give my daughter such instructions, be it in Morocco or the United States. And then it hits me: there are no "suspicious looking strangers" in this part of the world. Just people ...
