... were relieve to have a kitchenette and laundry facilities at our hotel (Access Jaude Apparthotel). We took full advantage by staying in for one dinner and all our breakfasts. Even more awesome is having a Carefour grocery store on the main floor and a Picard on the corner. Picard is a frozen food wonderland that uses a flashfreeze method to preserve freshness and taste, avoiding the use of preservatives - we can learn something here!

The Old french Capital during world war II
We spent the day in Vichy with Marie Christine, Philippe and the twins.
They took us to the source of the famous Vichy water.
Vichy was the French capital during the WW.
Philippe saw a really tall guy with an NBA back pack on and went across the street to speak with him ~ he plays for the Vichy team and is from Houston! Justin Reynolds.
It was a fun day!

... c’est original), comme tous les animaux que j’adopte. ‘Bébé’ nous a donc suivis et répondait même à son prénom…surtout au début ! Même les autres promeneurs croyaient que c’était notre chien, j’étais fière de mon « bébé »mais j’ai du le laisser à la fin de la balade, à mon grand désarroi, mais à son plus grand bonheur (bébé indigne va !) puisqu’il est allé renifler d’autres promeneurs...

... trouvé mon bonheur : un apéritif aux coucougnettes, et un apéritif « aux noix de monsieur » (avec des noix et du cassis).
Nous avons filé du côté de Murol et de Chambon-sur-Lac pour voir le fameux « Lac Chambon ». Il faisait bien chaud, et nous avons été tentés de faire une heure de pédalo pour profiter de l’eau. C’était très sympa ! J’ai mis les pieds dans l’eau et on s’est partagé le temps de « pédalage ». Vraiment ...
