... for the fact that it was local - it was pretty much Flan with some coconut and brown sugar bits around it , i totally knew what it was - oh well i just needed an excuse to order another dessert - who knows it might have actually tasted different !

... all knew about our short stay in port today so I guess they called it quits when it was no longer viable to take passengers for the “grand tour” of rocks and a lighthouse.

... a table with 2 other couples. Mary and David are British and Avis and Joe are from Virginia. Mary and David, quite a bit older, regaled us with wonderful stories of living on their sailboat for 12 years, being shot at on the beach in Turkey, Mary falling overboard while trying to untie a line. Today being our last full day in Aruba we wanted to spend the day at the beach. Marco and Omar got up at 5:20 to make sure we got a good cabana for shade down at the beach. They got a nice 2nd row cabana and enjoyed watching the full moon setting over the Atlantic and star gazing.
