... biggest relief. It was a great ride, but just a few kilometres too long. We got back and I immediately got my bathing suit on and hopped in the pool. As Gen napped I spent the afternoon reading by the pool and enjoying a nice soft chair. For dinner we had Caesar salad and spaghetti, followed by some tasty cakes. All was devoured quickly. I checked the map upon our return and we biked at least 22km each way, no wonder we were starving. After dinner we tried to ...

... growth. For the first time they have decided to shut of access to some of the streets that normally have cars on so we received notification from the Hotel that there was a drop off point but then the car would need to be moved to the car park, getting to the hotel seemed reasonably straight forward thanks to good instructions. Our Hotel is at the end of the old port and looks directly down the old port to the towers and is incredibly central to the usual walking city. With a ...

... happy campers as we trudged along and finally got all the way back to the hotel street and found an open cafe in the cathedral square. We got little pita-like bread with Camembert cheese and arugula. We are really loving the Camembert here--it's creamy and mild and not at all the same as what we get in the States.

We went back to the hotel and napped to catch up after our rough night. Then around 4:30, Rich and I went down to the ...
