There is good and dry walking along river with old houses to admire and the usual attention to detail in a good community in France, tidy, neat and orderly. A warmer night too so we are quite relaxed and ready for the pressure of Christmas shopping in IKEA after our morning coffee. Then a relatively short drive to Calais as we near the end of a very relaxing and enjoyable ...

Day started well with sunshine but windy. We got ready for a trip to Rouen and went for the bus at 10.00 from the town centre at Montville. The bus was on time and only cost 2€ each for the 30 min ride, we went through some villages and worked out where the next filling station was ready for when we set off the next day.
We arrived by the river seine and it looked impressive with a fun fair down the West Bank which was about 1/2 mile long (it was open ...
