    ... I quickly realized I didn't want to lug around that heavy extra bag so I just left it to be found at the edge of a parking lot.
    I walked across the boarder and just at the outside gate I asked where to get the tourist visa. Fortunately I did because it was inside the entry hidden away.     ... from Mexico to Texas looking for gold, but the trail soon gets really rough much too rough for our old Toyota but then worse, it gets really steep and narrow with scary drops over the side.     ... is man-made, is just the right size – big enough to have boat fun in, but not so big that you can’t see the other side or even swim across if you wanted to. Our spot was on the edge of the lake with a lovely view and a pleasant, secluded picnic area where Alan and I quickly found spots for our hammocks.     Stinken 39 degrees things were definitely heating up and we were becoming to realise that the dessert during summer is not the best idea.

    Getting closer to Grand Canyon which is exciting. Took a walk down to the river and to check out the view, shopped a little before buying an ice-cream to settle down before getting back on the bus.
