    ... We bought coffees to go from the store - the lady there told us she had been to Manchester but when we asked where, she said Liverpool. I guess when you ive in Arizona, 30 miles is nothing but if only she knew that the difference between those cities is measured in much more than miles!

    ... first place. All in all, a fabulous place. So glad we made the effort.
    Back in the car, we made our way to Madera Canyon via the beautifully scenic hwy 62 via Box Canyon. We arrived at the lovely Chuparosa Inn around 5pm, just in time for some fading light birdwatching. Chicken salad and Pinot Grigio for tea before falling asleep in the silence of the forest.

    ... is man-made, is just the right size – big enough to have boat fun in, but not so big that you can’t see the other side or even swim across if you wanted to. Our spot was on the edge of the lake with a lovely view and a pleasant, secluded picnic area where Alan and I quickly found spots for our hammocks.     ... a buck for escorting us as it would have been tough to find the place without his help. The waiters were all in tuxedos. The restaurant sat at the face of a cliff, thus the name....and the food was excellent. It was a great lunch.

    ... outside patio while Gina and Rod started their real estate hunt for an escape place. Richard got a tee time of 2:20 pm so Mum and I joined the real estate viewing of two townhouses and one newer model home all priced in the $200,000s.

    Before we knew it it was time for drinks and dinner - the former outside on the grass and the latter inside as it was getting cooler quickly.
