Frankie now has a new working engine fan to help him stay cool and a change of tyre. Even with these we have decided to still avoid Italy and spend more time in Germany. So we continued back up France close to the German border. We found a city called Mulhouse.
The heat wave has returned (38) but thankfully this place has a pool. The city also has one of the biggest car museums with over 400 classic, prestige and ...
... we got off the bus, we walked out to Marien Brüke. Man, was it up high! Adrienne said the view from das brüke was magnificent. The hard part was getting in the bridge and walking across. We knew that all four of us had to do it. The bridge already had about 100 people on it. So squeezing through was also necessary. ... is a tiny tourist office and it gave us walks and cycle info so tomorrow we will explore further. A small bakers and a mini market are still running and appear to be doing just enough business. Day 2. Cycling the Ballon's circuit. The Ballon's. Took us a while to work this one out but it appears that as you move through this area you come across giant ball shaped rocks. They are huge in parts and clearly immovable objects so houses get built round them or they just ...
