The boys arrived home, raving about their experience so it was worth the stopover for them. I'm sorry for all the car photos but I'm sure there are some people who might like them!! Dinner again at the Turkish place across the road. Early night and we head into Germany tomorrow.......past or maybe through the Black Forest. Will plot our course as we ...

... as we couldn't check in until 3 o'clock.......very picturesque area....very French! This is not a tourist town and apart from its car and train museum I don't know that there's much else to do, although they do have a wallpaper museum, a history museum, a fine arts museum, a Lalique museum and a textile museum just to name a few as well as a zoo. We grabbed a baguette for lunch and sat on a bench people watching. Well, to be honest, I didn't get a baguette as I'd ...

The Romantic Strasse ways a little less romantic in drizzle but after the castles we continued on from Austria into Germany across Switzerland into France.  What views! Didn't do much on this day after ...

... in Mulhouse. We walked around the streets. Each street had a little story, like a baguetterie where Marie and Eve would go after school. There were trams driving up and down the streets (very European). After walking around for quite a while, we drove to Cora (another local hypermarket with a mall at the front of the store) for lunch. There was a large gourmet cafeteria which had a variety of ...

... Dou. We got the biggest kick out of the name, but Serge and Sonia didn’t seem to understand why it was so funny. It wasn’t until the end of the evening that we explained it to them. They started laughing and laughing. Slightly embarrassed, Sonia said that she would have to explain it to their daughter, since it was hers. We had a wonderful evening. After having a little schnapps, Serge took the ladies home, while we ...
