126 Miles from Chattanooga to Nashville. We loooooved Nashville which completely surprised us. There wasn't really anything we wanted to do here but it was en route so we thought we might as well stop and have a look. We ended up extending our stay to 3nights. The drive here from Chattanooga was stunning, up and over mountains (past a land slide) …

Early in the morning we are off on a journey to Nashville.
We head to the Stones River National Battlefield for a driving tour of the sites while the kids complete a junior ranger program. We learn about the soldiers and battle during the civil war that took place in this area. We visited the cemetary, battle sites, fort and redoubt and farm area where the soldiers crossed the ford.
