Rhodes (Rhodos) is situated between the Black Sea and Egypt and is one of the most popular destinations in the Greek Isles apparently. Rhodes is perhaps most famous for one of the Seven Wonders of the World - The Colossus ...

You had to pay to enter the mud baths, even if you didn't go in and I have to admit (at the risk of sounding a snob - after visiting the blue lagoon (Iceland) there was no way I getting in the water/mud here!! It was hard to distinguish where the actual 'natural healing' spring started and where it was ...
I was really overdue my holidays, finally getting to take it in October and I just signed up to two weeks of not doing much in Turkey with a couple of friends in a group. For me though not doing much isn't my cup of tea so I took every chance to re-live my old Turkey memories, from food, sights, sea, dancing and ahem, yes the men, again :)

Another beautiful day. Sunny 78 degrees on the island of Rhodes. We travel to Lindos half way down the island. To see the Acropolis were Paul spoke to the Greeks. A long climb to the top with a view to forever. Just outstanding. Back to the boat early to catch some sun by the pool.
I am going to upload a couple of pics from yesterday on Myconos to give you an idea of the beauty here.

The local economy obviously hinges on Netsel Marina, a state-of-the-art facility that's undeniably ground zero for the yachting set and the Blue Voyage industry. In fact, the marina, the nearby wharf, and the cobblestone streets surrounding the castle are the bright spots in an otherwise charmless seaside port ...
... coast, we also hoist our sails - whenever the winds allows! Our boats are luxuriously fitted out . You can relax in the shade under a canvas awning or enjoy the sun. Comfortable mats are supplied. There are two large tables for open-air dining. In addition, each boat contains a saloon, which is generously-sized and bright. The cabins are situated below deck. They each have either two single beds or one large double bed, one small wardrobe, a ...
Marmaris - Mugla, Turkey bluevoyage... and he led us to a room before returning to his bedroom and shutting the door.
We showered. The drain was black with the grime we had accumulated from lying on the deck and sitting beneath the ferry's funnel. Michelle slept, her back was still hurting her, whilst I went for a walk around the city which by now was bustling with tourists.
My initial enthusiasm for the place diminished slightly as the narrow streets filled with tourists. Shutters opened to reveal gold ...
