... started well sun out third day went on to Vouvray good site in middle of town quiet. Got bikes out Wednesday to go to Tours. Wine tasting at Chateau Moncontour in Vouvray ( Chris do you know them the guy knew of you? ) bought two bottles of wine. Been about 20 degrees so quite warm. First week over still learning. ...

... did their shopping at the supermarche! You will have to ask them what they purchased there! After getting dressed up, we went to visit the Arc de Triomphe. We were lucky to see a special ceremony for the eternal flame under the arc. We then went to dinner on the Champs Élysées! The dinner included salad, canard with potatoes, and creme brûlée for dessert! Look up canard in English! I don't know if everyone cleaned their plate but they hopefully tried this ...

... of time, 22 people, and suitcases, but we managed! We pulled into the Tours train station and all of the families were waiting at the end of the platform. I wish I would have thought to take a picture. What a welcome! I also wish I could be a fly on the wall at their French homes right now. I know they were nervous but I have much confidence in them. What an experience! I am so proud of them! I cannot wait to call them on Sunday. I will update again then. Bonne nuit! ...
