      ... and always the wrong way!), it was great being able to get out into the country to see some of the smaller villages and towns. But it's also nice to be back staying in the middle of town so that walks in the evening are possible, and we don't have to drive after eating and drinking.       ... to kill the inhabitants, or that German soldiers had been killed there. There was a war crimes trial in 1953 but only 21 of the 65 participants identified appeared, and no officers.       ... quite a few two day stays lately, it is very nice to be in one place for a week. It means we don't feel we need to rush around to see all the local sights. We finally unpacked our warm coats as the weather has turned quite chilly.       ... the way from Vladivostok in Russia - Incredible. He would have ridden it from South Korea but he wasn't allowed into North Korea which would have given him access to China and then the west. What an adventure!

      After this we made our way to Limoges where we were staying for the night.

      In the evening we went for a Chinese 'eat all you can' buffet. And we did!
