Lap plays and movement activities allow babies to experience a sense of steady beat, and props and puppets are used to encourage focus. Percussion instruments are played in stop and start activities to extend babies' listening skills and peekaboo activities gently develop their confidence.

... the other is just at the surface. Sorry, no photos as yet. The only time we can see them is when she is crying and the camera is the last thing on our minds then.   Sophie still hasn't been able to drink any water, besides the bath water via the washer. The maternal health nurse said not to worry and to keep offering a sippy cup after her meals and eventually she will get it. My breast milk still provides her with all the fluids she needs and ...

... park, to see kualas, kangaroos, wombats and plenty of other animals too! Kualas are really cute, little heavy lumps! The kangaroos were great though, extremely tame, we fed them, fussed them and some of them even followed us about...obviously for more food! A quiet last night in watching a bit more Aussie rules. ... After my brief snooze, I walk along the riverwalk some more - paticularly enjoyed seeing the scullers in their boats on the river.

When Dave gets back we walk to the Waterfront Restaurant for a yummy dinner and head to the casino to exchange some US dollars into Australian (losing just a bit in the process). There's a little cafe for a delicious spot of dessert before heading back to crash into slumber by 9 pm!
