... patiently for him to act.” (Ps 37:7a)

“Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river ...

... myself missing the morning bus by a few minutes and so I have the rest of the day until the following morning to figure something out. So what do I do...I GO TO THE BEACH!! Yeah, that's right. :D It's time to swim in the Med some more...haha. The water was kind of cool, but once I got in it was great. Unfortunately, there are no real waves in Limassol. I should have swam at Paphos on the western coast where there were at ...

... winter season in Cyprus; the temperature was approximately 22C. As Cyprus is a year round tourism destination, there are flights thro ughout the winter months with five foreign airlines having routes for winter 2013. Travelling from Paphos to Limassol the infrastructure system was good, including good main roads and motorways connecting the two resorts. The CTO (Cyprus Tourism Organisation) explained that Cyprus has invested in major improvements to the infrastructure ...

Flexible Figures!

Leaving behind the Church of Angeloktisti and Kiti, we move on towards the village of Alaminos.

The countryside is so beautiful that a couple of stops on the way is a must for a few photos, until we come to the 'Secret Paradise' indicated by a road sign.

The beach is virtually hidden from ...

... copious games of bat tennis on the beach, watching the Champions League game in Nicosia and probably most all enjoying many excessive eating sessions with Stis’s friends and family – none more special than the final night when Mimi and Solumi celebrated their anniversary and invited us along and none more amusing(/painful) than the first night when I ate so much I passed out in the car then slept 13hrs that night!

Historical Traveler Reviews Arsinoe Beach Hotel Limassol

    Arssinoe beach hotel

March 2006 we have just returned from the Arsinoe Beach not on the beach) Hotel Hotel is ok but if you want a quiet holiday be warned there is a very large disco underneath that goes on until 5am seven nights a week!

dont book room 504 that plus the hot rod noises do not make for a relaxing holiday some may love all these factors Food good (repetitve after 2 weeks

most staff helpful) decor was a bit shabby in our opinion not updated as advertised Hope this helps

    Expected better

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arsinoe but were really disapointed with our room which was decidedly tatty compared to the hotels public amenities. We couldn't change rooms as the hotel was fully booked which was a great shame. It had a nice balcony overlooking the quieter of the two pools but the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, curtains were tatty and paintwork shoddy. We were so disappointed as we had chosen this hotel especially after looking around it on a previous holiday in Limassol.

I was pleased that we had got a really good price for the holiday because i would not have been happy if i had paid top rates.Don't be put off by this review though because perhaps we were just unlucky.

It's all been said, the food could be a little more adventurous, but everything else more than makes up fot it. Already booked up to go back and can't wait to see the wonderful staff again.

Got back from another amazing holiday at the arsinoe last month. It was me and my families 5th trip to the arsinoe and didn't let us down. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing loving atmosphere, the rooms we had were in the newer part of the hotel which are clean simple and fore fill every need you would want during your stay. Being only 16 and my brother being 12 we need amusing because we get bored easily and at the arsinoe that was never the case my brother joined in on games of killer pool and darts, etc run by the hotel while I sunbathed with my mum and dad in the very attractive pool area at the back of the hotel which offers plenty of sun beds and umbrellas which can be used free of charge! We ate breakfast in the hotel which catered for everyone cereal, toast, and warm food as well which varied. Lunch is also served by the hotel which was usually a buffet but you could also choose from their lunchtime menu offering sandwiches chips and salads amongst other things. The evening meal was also a buffet it wasn't always amazing but you could always find something to suit you. In the evening the hotel usually had some entertainment going eg karaoke but if not the bar staff found some way of entertaining you must mention them George Yiannis, Andreas, Toni, Lambross and Harris lots of love to you all! Over all it was an amazing holiday and we are sure to return next year and make a 6th visit to the arsinoe xx

    Not so Special

Oh dear, sorry to spoil the party but we found the Arsinoe Beach a very ordinary place and nothing special at all.We had two weeks HB with Airtours in Oct.05. I must say it was a very good price, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". The biggest disappointment for us was the food.We found it to be very boring after only a few days.Items available at breakfast and dinner were repeated at regular intervals. The rooms were very small, and if you are unlucky to have a room in the old part of the hotel,it can be very noisy at night.Rosy o`Gradys disco is situated in the basement and it is open until 4 am!! Holiday here if you wish but don`t say you haven`t been warned !!

    Will go again

We had 2 glorious weeks in The Arsinoe Hotel - the staff have to be the nicest we have met - the bar staff are one on their own for service and friendliness - superb.

Reception girls (and 1 male) were lovely and very helpful.

George the hairdress is the absolute best - he reformed me completly and was a very honest and nice person - thanks George.

I would have to say that the food could have been better - most of the time it was edible but nothing startling - this could be improved on.

Arthur on the Kareoke was a lovely chap and he had to work very hard to get people up to sing but he did not give up.

The actual hotel - room - pools - restauraunt - reception and bar areas were lovely - very nicely decorated.

Once again - just one fault - we rented a fridge for 2 weeks which was put on a double adaptor with the telly - this continually sparked and I was greatly in fear of a fire - I did tell reception and they arranged for another double adaptor - this sparked just as much so I would get the electrics checked.

Overall - this was one of the best hols we have had. Company - Hotel - Weather - all good - although I must say that the Wine Festival fell at a good time and we had a ball.

    Top Hotel!!!

We have just got back from arsinoe beach hotel last night and it was one of the most friendliest places I have ever been to! The staff are more then willing to help you with anything and believe me we needed them a few times! The bar staff Haris, tony, alex, yainnis and especially we cant forget george who made the holiday! We went with our family (a party of 10), we ate in every night, their was a 3 course meal and every morning we were given the choice of continental or pretty english meals! My only downfall is that maybe due to us going out of season my 2 and 5 year old were lonely (no kids clubs) or activities in the evening. I have been that impressed with it I am thinking of getting married at the hotel and are now making enquires for the coming 2 years!

    Arsinoe Beach Hotel

Got back from the Arsinoe Beach Hotel last night. It was a fantastic hotel in a great resort. After reading some reviews on websites, my girlfriend and I were a little worried. When we arrived at the hotel we knew we had made the right choice, our first thought was 'this place is nice'.

The hotel is just across the road from the beach where there are water sports and sunbeds etc. The tourist area is a short taxi ride away and the city centre is about 15 minute bus ride which costs 75 Cent. There are lots of bars restaurants and gift shops within a minutes walk of the hotel so overall the location was excellent.

The food was of a high standard, buffet style, with lots of lovely salads, greek dishes and international dishes. For the second week we ate out alot. Rebeccas restaurant does lovely greek food. There is a nice Chinese called the Long Men about five minutes from the hotel. Opposite the Long Men there is a lovely Italian. Breakfast was also buffet style with lovely full English, continental, cereal etc.

The main pool area was brilliant. We were always able to get a bed and the whole are was really clean and tidy and makes for an enjoyable day relaxing by the pool.

At the bar Happy hour was half 9 til 10 with half price cocktails and spirits. The staff are brilliant. Yanis, George, Alex and others who's name I don't know. They are all really friendly, funny and really made the holiday enjoyable. The karaoke night was good, also the greek dancing night was really good too.

We booked with Thomas cook and for the two of us half board we paid 920 which was a bargain!! I would definately recommend this hotel. In the past I have stayed in 5 star hotels, although the Arsinoe is a three star it is certainly one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in and i will probably return there again one year.

If you are considering going to Limassol, You wont be disappointed with The Arsinoe.

    Best Hotel

Hi to everyone at the Arsinoe hotel!!! Staying here was the best hotel i've ever stayed in all the staff are soooo friendly e.g Andraos Alex Yanis and george who was funny and made our stay. Everyone welcomes you and you make plenty of friends there. I enjoyed Yanis's dancing so much but i wasn't sure about georges singing only joking. The pool is brilliant and so is the food and bar. I really loved staying here and i am definitley going back in a few years. I love and miss you all soooo much and hope to see you soon xxxx
