    ... the trail gradually descended us from 7800 thru some burned areas with no shade, to 5800ft. It has been mostly downhill today. The weather was cool too. I met new hikers at the trail angel place and reacquainted with hikers I had previously met on the trail. I hiked mostly alone today and enjoyed it. That is the good thing about this trail.     Up around 8am and had a cup of coffee while Mike and I chatted a bit. Until dave got up around 10am and Jenny up around 11:30am. We discussed what we wanted to do today and we just wanted to catch up with travel experiences we all have had.
