Awake a little later at 7am as we didn't require a wakeup call. Bags didn't have to be out till 10am & our coach that took us to the ship arrived at 11am. Our quick goodbyes to our tour director Annette & we embarked on our ship the "Emerald Sky" at 11am. A wonderful welcome with hand wash as we board & a drink was given as we were directed to the horizon lounge. A buffet lunch was prepared while we waited for our rooms to be cleaned. We took the bus first to the Parliament Building today for a tour. The Parliament building is the one that is featured in most Viking River Cruise ads and it is as magnificent inside as it is outside. It is surprisingly ornate and well kept.
