Great feeling to actually get on the road. When we wake up we will be in Venice. Taking a few pictures but can't get them off my camera. Will do better, I promise.

      From an excited traveller. ...

Fast forward to May 2014 and the bags are packed and we are all excited and perhaps a bit anxious to get on the road. Rendezvous point, Connell Chrysler tomorrow morning and then off ...

It is September 29, 1960 and I have reached the top of Maine known as Aroostook County. This is a major potato growing area. I drove through Maines pinde wilderness on state route 11. I stayed in Rocinante for the night. I met a great family and had them over for wine. The family that came over was French Canadians and they were very nice. They crossed the border each year to help with the harvest. I enjoyed Aroostook. Now it is time for me to head to Lancaster New Hampshire. ...
