Today was designed to be a vacation from touring, a day to do whatever you wanted. Another couple of hours down the mountains and we were on the coastal plateau known as the Turquoise Coast. Fairly flat land, much warmer, roses were blooming, resort hotels and lots of fancy stores for the rich tourists who came to shop. Fields were being readied for planting, traffic was heavy, temperature went up quickly into 75+.
