Adamas Port, 250m From The Beach,, Cyclades Adhamas, Milos, Cyclades, Greece, 84801
Today we just got back from the most incredible rock beach. The rock was solid formations of bleached white stone, rising in cliffs and leaning into the clear blue sea. The water was warm and the sun was way to hot. The bus system here requires us to shell out about ten euros a day to get around, but its worth it. From camping last night (in the sometimes unsleepable heat!), we woke up and bused into town and then to the Sarakini (the rock beach.) Our camera ran out of batteries ...
Milos, Cyclades, Greece aaronandmirna... sand and dirt across the island. The sand and dirt got into our eyes, throats, and noses and made it quite unpleasant. However, we rented a quad (no more weak Suzuki cars for us) to head to a protected cove away from the wind. We found a nice little beach bar and area set up on a cove and decided to spend the afternoon there. The sunning area was actually a flat landing of paved rocks and concrete that had been built out over the water and had a variety of lounge chairs and tables ...
Sifnos, Cyclades, Greece johnandrich... wide. It is quiet with only 600 year round residents and just three villages.
The scenery here is spectacular with 1,000 ft. cliffs towering over the clear blue and turquoise waters of the Mediterranean sea with many beautiful small coves and small beaches tucked among the cliffs.
We stayed at Hotel Anemousa. It was a great, inexpensive place perched on a cliff above the sea. The views were great and the rooms were very, very ...
... Moto (Tel : +30 22860 41346/ Mobile : 6946 494642). It was one of the most exhilarating time of my life being on one of those things! It certainly beat driving a car on an island like Folegandros.
Ano Meria:
We started our journey towards the north western part of the island, to a picturesque village called Ano Meria. We passed through very rocky terrain and due to ...
... there is a difference between a “tourist restaurant” and a “local restaurant” !
We made a pact that from then on, Argi will be the one picking our eating place and not me!
That night, we had the best sleep we have ever had for a long, long time. We did so much in one day and I instantly fell in love with this island, just as I had fallen in love with Pelion.

Plaka, Greece lindsey-canada... to the mountain where there is a church. The only problem was that we did not know how to get up there. After many efforts we end up heading up a goat path with the car. I was so nervous we were making turns with no barrier stopping us from driving off the edge the pictures don't do it justice how steep the road was. The view on top were unbelievable.
Sifnos, Cyclades, Greece corrWe spent the 8th 9th and 10th on santorini where we got an awesome hotel room; 2 beds, shower, toilet(that has no suction) tv and fridge for 14 euros per night. It was crazy, the regular, in season fare, was of 60-80 euros per night. We also rented a quad and went around the island. The beaches were pretty nice altho the sand was mostly rocky but if you went to the far right of the main beach it became very soft, and there was no one there because it was past the bars and restaurants.
Santorini, Greece julienrl... lines? Sure, boobs can be used in a sexual way, but topless tanning is not a sexual thing, and in Europe, most people don't even look twice. Bill was a good sport and offered to look away, but I declined fearing it would be weird. But I gotta tell you, I don't understand why... Bill organized a car rental for noon the next day, so we all slept in, had some coffee, and picked up the red Samurai. We drove through much of Ios's winding roads, requiring frequent beeps from our ...
Ios, Greece the_stamms... come playground for the wealthy- come summer hotspot for TV shows like E's Wild-on. We arrived around 6, just in time for the sunset which seemed to freeze time. Definitely one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. We climbed to the top of the hill to watch from the old windmill as the sky turned incredible shades of purples, oranges, and reds over perfect turquoise waters. A greasy lamb gyro capped a perfect day. Rhodes was our last stop in Greece and ...
