On Sunday I watched the closing parade which was each of the countries all together- it was really neat!
Here is a highlight from the opening ceremony! I'm sorry that it is in German, but the fireworks start at 12:30!
... everywhere, and every giant brick on the floor was stamped with a saying. I lit a candle for Grandma there to make sure she was remembered on her birthday. I am glad I took the time out of my day because it was nice to see the church, something I had been meaning to do for the past two months but had not gotten around to yet!
... white! Also, since the sand was so fine, it squeaked every time we took a step!
On the way back to Lübeck, we stopped at a grocery store called Edeka where I got A&W Cream Soda! I could have also gotten Root Beer or Dr. Pepper there, which you cannot find anywhere else. Once we did get back we walked around for another couple hours to enjoy the weather. I got so sun-burnt! It was a great day overall though!
... I better check it for loose bolts etc and make sure all was safe and sure enough all was found to be 100%.
It was now 6pm and I was just about asleep on my feet and so decided to take a quick ten minute snooze!! Well, that ten minute snooze became a 5 hour snooze and when woke up the place was in darkness and it was just after 11pm.
Looking outside now the sky looks clear and according to the manager of the motel tomorrow is going to be bright sunshine, here's ...
