      On checkout day, we visited the Blue Lagoon. I had read reviews that it's overrated, overpriced, and generally a bit underwhelming. I could not agree less. It was amazing. The sheer sight of the lagoon is breathtaking. The water, which is an opaque, milky blue colour, shimmers in the sunlight, while steam rises from it mystically.       After the coffee chat I caught the Flybus from a local hotel to the airport. 2500 ISK, free wifi, and an easy 45 minute drive. The Reykjavik airport claims to be duty and tax free and claims to have prices cheaper than in the city. This is a lie. Buy your gifts in town.
