      The lock workers went on strike yesterday so we arrived in Rouen.. Unplanned overnight stay and as of 12 noon we found out the locks would reopen at 5 pm. We'll travel toward Paris this evening. Also heard air traffic controllers are on strike, so not sure what ...

      ... for us with a glorious sunny day, only a bit chilly in the afternoon. Just before returning home Jenny took us to her favourite tea house where we had delicious cups of tea in cute teapots and jenny and amy had caramel crepes. Another night in the apartment now cooking our own dinner -lucky there is a supermarket down the road.
