Cordoba and Granada
Last Friday the program left by bus at 8 am to go to Cordoba. The night before not many people got a lot of sleep because of work, worrying about missing the bus, and the fact that it felt like a Friday night. ... a short tour and then got to try 3 different types of port. I quickly discovered that I am not a port person, though I suppose I could get used to it. It smelt really nice, and there were definitely some nice flavours there, especially in the lighter red one, but it is just too strong for me! ... hour on the subway, and I'm pretty sure I walked in tunnels for about 1/4 mile or more from the time I got out of the train till I made it above ground! I didn't have a map yet so I asked someone where Manuela Malasaña street was and was lucky enough that the first person knew where to point me. The streets are ridiculously narrow! I've lived the movie "The Terminal"
... how one can sleep so ******* a wood bench, but this guy managed to in about 2 minutes. And then the locomotive train began. I think I found the perfect husband for my hotel-mate during orientation. They could probably be contracted to do demolition projects together by simply sleeping near the structure. How is it even possible to snore like that without waking yourself up? It's unbelievable.
