... that it was a long weekend and everybody was here, so we stayed Saturday night in a Cracker Barrel shop car park. ... Cape May lighthouse.. Standing 157 feet tall, we then climbed the 217 steps to the top (oh dear the thighs were screaming on reaching the top). BUT the views from the top were worth it- see for miles , over wetlands and ocean beach- including the WW2 bunker still standing proud but abandoned on the beach.

Our guests have departed and we are again on our own. Monica & Richard were great ...
