          ... something I'd not had before and something totally American. So biscuits and gravy it was. So the biscuits are basically a savoury scone and the gravy is kind of like a cheesy white sauce. Not what I would imagine biscuits and gravy to be.           ... Rental car collected, courtesy car returned, Sunday was a momentous day – for us and Little Ted. We visited Southfork Ranch!           As we left TN, we crossed the Mississippi River, and there was a big pyramid building in Memphis. It was a Bass Pro Shop – it really stood out as different in the city skyline. These are the things that amuse us as we ride along.

          On the way back we stopped in to one of the 3 steak houses all next to each other and chatted to the staff for a while. They tried to convince us to try their 50oz steak which seemed like a steal at $1/oz but after this last few weeks of meat mania we had to decline.
