From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...
... and so many other toys. It was quite spectacular. She did so well with everyone and had a great time. Once she was in the car, she completely passed out. I am not even sure we made it five minutes from work.
That evening, Baba put the pork shoulders on the smoker to begin cooking and Mama's family came in from Austin. Auntie Lisa and Uncle Dan got a chance to meet Addy that night. Addy was so comfortable playing ...
... party on Saturday. It will be a full house! Most of the family Addy has met at least once except she will get to meet my sister and brother's family for the first time. Oh so sweet. I cannot wait - I have missed them so!!! We are doing great and look forward to a fun filled rest of the week. Hope everyone is great too!
... Our campground for the next two nights was in Arlington, TX, right in the middle of the city – quite different from our other campgrounds - but still very nice. Flowers were blooming everywhere and I couldn’t get enough of all the bright colors.

On the way back we stopped in to one of the 3 steak houses all next to each other and chatted to the staff for a while. They tried to convince us to try their 50oz steak which seemed like a steal at $1/oz but after this last few weeks of meat mania we had to decline.
