We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Our 2014 Hawkins Family Vacation ended safely upon our return home after 4 AM early Wednesday morning. It was long drive through the sands of west Texas but nothing beats the blessing of a safe delivery to a still-standing and working home.
Our final tally was 15 days, 3,571 miles traveled and over 82 hours in the car.

Oma Jean wanted to spend a day with us and she decided to invite us to go on a museum tour at the Science Museum in Fort Worth. It is a really nice museum and when we visited that museum they were running a Titanic exhibition which we thought would be really intersting. And it was very interesting.
