... armed with my photo. Stated that now not only was I upset with the porthole I was really unhappy with the lack of follow through by guest services, ie no contact today as was promised yesterday. Spoke with a very nice CM who asked me to sit down and wait for a few minutes, she came out with a card with 28 written on it. In a Mickey Miracle, 2128 was vacant. We went and looked at it and it was just fine. Dennis and I moved our stuff and I went and got us ...

This was a mistake as we wound around endless corridors gazing into cells or seeing small oak doors with enormous locks. One really didn’t want to dwell on the misery that must have pervaded the place for centuries. We were out by 10. we had to take a small step back to the apartment, bc Ethan got Bird poop on his shirt from leaning over a bridge. He was freaked out and even got nauseous. Of course, his brothers found that hilarious and we became quite the scene when Ethan took off his shirt and walked back (puking a little on the way) to the apartment for a new shirt. Ha!! Vaca ...

... lost umpteen times on our way, its no wonder only locals know about it!!

An early night in bed ready for an early start, we were heading to the other side of Italy the next day, was rudely interrupted by a local woman who decided that 3.30 am was a great time to knock on the door of an apartment. The ensuring screaming match by people telling her to shut up ensured we were awake and ready for our 7am departure for the Cinque ...
