From the Ship's Log: "Despite a rather brief history as a Mexican Riviera resort destination, the local community has remained true to its roots without succumbing to mainstream franchise-ridden touristy malceovers. Instead, Manzanillo does a fine job of maintaining its lush tropical geography and pueblo-like vibrantly coloured houses cascading down its verdant hillsides. The restaurant is out of the way but the textures and flavors were really amazing. The restaurant itself was situated in a warehouse type building with local bands and music. Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...

... was all you can drink. Got my arm twisted with that one! I still had the issue of not actually having any clothes and looking like a tramp, but he offered to lend me some if I went out – based on previous efforts, I should expect a thermal tight shirt and giant black boat shoes!

So stayed the night, and had some AMAZING (ie more grease than tortilla) tacos which would dispel any notion of a hangover the next morning. Needed to get on with some of my writing work so ...
