Acapulco. Once one of the world's most famous and popular resort destinations, the pretty coastal city is now mainly only visited by vacationing Mexican families (and, apparently, us). So each end of the bay represents 2 different class extremes, and the middle is a strip of fast-food, retail shopping, and over-priced family restaurants. The restaurant is out of the way but the textures and flavors were really amazing. The restaurant itself was situated in a warehouse type building with local bands and music. Someone quoted that this looks like a Salma Hayek ...

... was all you can drink. Got my arm twisted with that one! I still had the issue of not actually having any clothes and looking like a tramp, but he offered to lend me some if I went out – based on previous efforts, I should expect a thermal tight shirt and giant black boat shoes!

So stayed the night, and had some AMAZING (ie more grease than tortilla) tacos which would dispel any notion of a hangover the next morning. Needed to get on with some of my writing work so ...
