    ... treatment at 5 and there is a golf competition on the lawn area on the top deck (15) at 4.30. I think i might have a beer and a crack. Oh, the other big event for the day! Grizzly Adams is now no longer with us and the beard all came off this morning. I feel a bit nude actually.     ... to head to the gym, we hadn't been since we got on board and all the nice meals were starting to show on the waistline! Stayed for about an hour, it was almost enjoyable on the treadmill looking out of the ships large windows. I can think of worse views! Then it was back to the room to get ready. We had a show booked for later ( or at least we thought we did!) Cirque dreams & Dinner at the Spiegal Tent. When we arrived, we were told our booking was for tomorrow ...

    ... got back about people being pick pocketed both in Naples and Florence, saying how they didn't feel anything...they target men with wallets in their side, back and leg pockets, also women with zipped handbags....so I was grateful we had purchased the Pacsafe satchels....and didn't get touched. Last stop was a scrumptious Gelati.....the Italians are experts.....I've tried many flavours since being in Italy...favourites being in Venice, Sorrento and Florence ...

    Today, our first of four tours booked for our Mediterranean cruise. Our first stop in Italy was Livorno. After disembarking, and boarding our tour bus, we set off to the nearby city of Pisa. Its not hard to guess why. The leaning tower of Pisa draws thousands of people every day.     Back in the van and down into Florence at no time at all ... Fabrizio expertly drove around the streets and found a parking space, gave us an intro about the Church and the Piazza San Croce and we had about 25 mins free time to visit the church or wander around the Piazza.
