    ... it was Bircher muesli! We all had a nanas nap, even Katie! very rare that Katie will sleep in the day even she couldn't believe it. While we were all asleep they announced that there would be a safety drill, we missed the bit that it was a drill! So I woke up thinking some sort of emergency was happening! Adrenaline pumping!     Today we are in the port of Livorno, in Italy. The have tours running to Florence and Pisa from here. We have already done this, so we stay on board and have a slow day. We get up late and enjoy a late breakfast. We check out the outside decks and do some reading and knitting. It is nice to be on board when many of the passengers are gone. This gives you the feeling that you have the whole ship to yourselves. No problem getting a deck chair either! We do head up to the spa ...

    ... br> After diner I went for a complimentary non surgical facelift and although it did look amazing you need a small mortgage found it. The first treatment is $3000!!!!

    once over that, we again headed to Showtme and listened to Lovena B Fox who was an incredible singer and so energetic. After this we went to Bingo to keep Carolyn happy and a WON.!! Sheree won $100 in the first round and I won $300 in round 3!!! It was paid out in $US.

    ... looking at the shop windows. We stopped for a drink at a lovely little restaurant and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. The only down side we experienced was the cost of food and drinks – a beer of about 330 ml was 6.80 euros and a single gelati cone (admittedly a huge scoop) was 7 euros.
