... around 5:00 PM. This is too bad since we can't take many pictures when we are leaving the port. We attend the cruise show in the theater tonight before dinner. It is the Celebrity dancers doing an array of music and dance. These performers are very good and they even throw in some aerial acrobats as well. These shows are very entertaining and fill the time at sea. At dinner, our Canadian friends have jumped tables (as I figured they would) but another lady joins us. Carol, who ...

After a breakfast fit for a Queen we caught the complimentary shuttle bus to the Piazza Grande. Livorno is 2 miles from the harbour and is considered the gateway to Florence. We again decided to stay in the town. Highs: we found some amazing fruit and veggie markets and a Bali like shopping market. See some fantastic photos of zucchini flowers. I skipped lunch today when we got back and headed over to the gym. Had it all to myself before a couple of others came in.

Peter headed over to The Grill and pool area where he had lunch and caught up with Roger and Allan, who are both from the UK.

... any further...in the 90's. We arrived before all the tourist buses, so had the place to ourselves virtually...even the market stalls were not open. The leaning tower took 177 years to build and has been leaning since construction began. Located in the area know as the Field of Miracles, the Duomo, Baptistery and the campo Santo such a interesting site to see. In Florence, it's best to drink coffee standing up, if you sit down at their ...
