Missed direct train so caught local train with change at other Genoa stn. Bit difficult to work out the system but got there in the end. Train runs beside Med. Would be spectacular on a ...

We locate, after much walking (we find out later, in circles) a great restaurant, chockers full of Italians and a wait of fifteen minutes or so, which was passed with a crisp white wine complimentary of the owner. Finally, we are in Italy, in the midst of locals, eating authentic mama style home cooking.....with very clean ...

Yesterday, we went for a really long walk along the sea up to Paraggi and back. We swam and I played knuckle bones with the pebbles on the beach, much to Ashton's horror.

Since it was Ashton’s last day, there was a bit of organizing to do, but we finished the day with an Aperetiv at one place, dinner at Il Vino Bar and then to Gelateria Gepi for ice creams and coffee. This is the caffe with the mamma and her 3 or 4 very good looking ...
