    Well not sure how ready I am to begin my next hike after spending 5 days on Capri swimming through green grottos, lying around the hotel pool, boating to mainland, wonderful lunches in hidden restaurants in little coves, and basically a total relax.  My friends, Vicki & Gilles, and I discuss at great lengths which wonderful walk we will attempt each year.  This particular Italian hike has been in our minds for the past few years and ...

    ... make a good lunch spot. We eat, decide to head down to the main road to be closer to the beaches. We walk along the road, looking over for sandy spots.     ... and with a set up like this we had very little need to stray far. We were just so happy to be in one place! Amalfi was a solid 10-15 minute walk downhill along the coast with was nice, but the 200 or so steps back up were torture in the heat of the day!
