SANTORINI!
We were super excited to be leaving Athens. The ferry ride was about 8 hours and was suprisingly pleasant. The ferrie's a HUGE with 8 levels, cafes on every floor, shops, airline reclining seats and outside seating. We spent the whole time outside as it was really nice weather. Oh the hardship!!
... beautiful and you should see the room!! Gorgeous! It has a slightly split level layout so the bed is higher up than everything else, with nice curtain drapes hanging over it and then we have our own private deck area with a pool, and sun lounges galore. It cost 300 euro per night but between the three of us thats quite cheap. And our deck overlooks the hotel's main pool and lounge area, so that we can people watch.

... got back on the boat some of them were covered with a brown slimy sludge which took a bit to get It off their skin. Louise commented that while the water close to the boat was VERY cold the contrast with the warmer water in the hot springs was welcomed. Locals believed the hot springs were beneficial for those with arthritic joints and many treated themselves to the swim for medicinal purposes only.
