... same guest house (which was a bit of a dump), so we linked up for our duration in Lucknow, which was brief, as we had Delhi train tickets for following day (different trains). This confused some of the locals we'd chatted to at the train station, as they presumed he was my husband and they were not impressed he'd gone on ahead of me. We ordered room service twice as the first guy didn't understand but it turned out to be one of the most delicious curries we've had so we forgave them...until some guy just walked into our room, one of the staff members!
