Ed wasn’t too happy with this snafu, unlike me. I was happy to see bright lights, people having a good time, and something other than the port area and everything closed. For the 2nd day I tried to get a early start, but really didn’t get out until 10am. The guy at the ship warned me that it was acqua alta, high tides. We’d been informed that the islands flood at high tide, and I could see it from the boat. I ...

This was built by and Austrian empress in the late 1800s - and it really was very beautiful. During the war it was used as a hospital and later as an orphanage before it was restored for tourists to view. We drove through the main town and by this stage it was so wet we decided to return to the ship and warm up and have ...

Day 46 - Corfu Greek Island
This morning we were up early to participate in a behind the scenes ship tour we signed up for. There was only room for a maximum of 40 passengers. The cost of the tour was about 35pp. Toby had complained about having to pay to tour the ship. On the P&O it is free. Anyway I wanted to do it so i signed us up. This morning we both reluctantly rolled out of bed and met the tour group at the theatre. We learnt about the ...
