... spinach. They must've had a different Chef in as the food was even better than usual. The lamb especially was cooked to perfection. To avoid any dramatic outbursts, we refrained from drinking (too much) and had an early night, in preparation for my early flight.
It has been a truly amazing trip and I'm so glad that my parents decided to buy our family home here in Corfu. I imagine I will be spending of lot of time here and i can't wait to return.

... and cruised through the hills towards San Stefanos. On the way i spotted a fox in a field. It was weird to see one out during the day, but maybe in this country people on horses don't chase them around?

My dad had been to the bookshop and had bought me a copy of 'Notes of a dirty old man'.

The weather on this morning was the worst we've had so far. The sky was solid grey and threatening to break into rain at any moment. Reluctantly we left the apartment and searched for a caffeine breakfast. Its lucky we did, as today was Palm Sunday. In Corfu Town it is celebrated with a procession of marching bands. In better weather conditions they also take the mummified remains of St. Spiridon around the town. Today it was ...

Day 8 started with one of my favourite pass times. Charity shopping. We checked out a little shop attached the back of a pet store. There were a few cool telephones but nothing worth buying. In the pet store, two puppies had been abandoned in a box and left on the doorstep. They were very cute but it seemed unlikely they find a home. Street dogs are a real problem in Corfu, and with neutering being frowned upon by some locals, it doesn't look like ...
