      I love it! The porcelain fixtures in McDonalds is by Villeroy and Bosch! We started the week by spending the day in Moulins. We went to the cathedral. The outside was stupendous. The main entrance had all been re-faced and the patterns were wonderful. There were some nice stained glass windows, but on the whole, the inside was underwhelming. Lovely medieval town - ...

      First we had to negotiate ourselves out of the car park and into the Aires car park, which we did with much miming and sign language, our French not being as good as our poor German. Clermont-Ferrand, we discovered, is Michelin tyre city. The head office and an enormous factory were situated just next to our camp spot.       ... we prepare to leave the airplane, we are invited to visit the family living just outside the city's centre. Bienvenue en France. Visiting here is not going to be like Paris.

      ... of soccer. We used a real ball - boy it is hard to kick and stop a shot. A lot bigger than the ball Caleb and I are used to using.       Caleb went on an outing with 10 or so other kids to the Museum Le Coq. He learned about minerals, birds and lots more. It was organized by the Sable Show people. Evening time was Sandball for the adults. A guy was wearing a Montreal Canadians T-shirt sober named our team The Canadians!!! Sandball consists of teams if five and you throw a small rubber ball back and forth and shoot on a big net with a goalie. You get one point for a ...
